Because of the sheer amount of comment and blog spam that goes on, I have this site set up so that all comments are moderated until I’ve approved at least two comments from you. Then it will go to auto-approve. This applies to ALL comments, both post and page. Even if you are approved, I reserve the right to delete comments I feel are not appropriate. Disagreement is fine, personal attacks and throwing out f-bombs is not. If you are a real commenter, not someone trying to compliment me in grand and generic terms in the hopes I will approve your porn site spam or something, and your comment hasn’t appeared within 24 hours, please use the Contact Me form to let me know. I do my best to parse through the junk but it may not be perfect. I thought it may be time to post this note as I’ve obviously shown up on some spiders now and have been getting a lot of spam comments. Thanks for your understanding.
I’ve been a fan of Ms. Leigh’s Breed series from the very beginning and it’s been interesting to see the world change and grow as the series has been playing out. I’ve especially been looking forward to this story because I really wanted to see Navarro lose it over a woman. That much self-control just begs for a total crash. For the most part, my anticipation was fulfilled. Novarro and Mica are both interesting characters and the lust and emotions run hot and heavy between them. I especially enjoyed the awakening Navarro has in the latter part of the story.
Something About You is a great mix of strong personalities that can fall in love and become a couple without losing their individuality or careers. Instead they both give and take strength, comfort and love from each other. I truly loved Ms. James voice and the snarky but not bitter dialogue. I laughed out loud at some points and this is one of the things that really draws me to buy more books by Ms. James.
When You Dare is a book I’ve been looking forward to for quite a while. Molly is a really fun heroine in that she’s an author of romantic suspense. As When You Dare unfolded, I could see little tidbits of real-life author issues pop up. Dare is an interesting mix of distrustful operative and someone who really does want to have close relationships with a few select people but doesn’t know who he can trust or if he can trust anyone human. I’ve been a Lori Foster fan since the Buckthorn Brothers series and this book did not disappoint. I’ll be happy to recommend it. 4.5 Stars. Published by Harlequin, 4/26/2011.
This book includes all the things I like best about a Linda Wisdom paranormal. Demons are a Girl’s Best Friend was a lively, fun read that kept my attention and had me rooting for Maggie and Declan all the way. 4 Stars. Published by Sourcebooks, 4/1/2011.
