Collision Course drew me in quickly and kept me reading, unwilling to put my reader down until I finished the story. There’s a lot of well-portrayed battle scenes as well as hot sex scenes throughout the story and Ms. Archer does a great job of portraying two strong personalities who take each other by surprise. 4 Stars. Unfortunately, I liked Breakaway overall, but did not love it. Though I had problems with Breakaway as a story, I did like Ms. Jamieson’s voice and will try another story by her in the future. 2.5 Stars. Published by Ellora’s Cave on 3/18/2011.
The story of Samantha finding her place (as well as her mate) in this wolf shifter town is a warm, satisfying read that will not disappoint. I loved the tidbits of bonding and acceptance that were sprinkled throughout Arctic Winds. 3.5 Stars. Published by Lyrical Press 1/12/2011.
A Lot Like Love was a fast-paced, enjoyable read that kept me wondering just what shoe would drop next but without becoming overly frantic. I really liked Julie James’ voice and the way she brought life and unique qualities to each of her cast of characters, even the ones we don’t spend a lot of time with. 4 Stars.
